Born in Sydney, Australia, Scott has always enjoyed travel and seeing what the world has to offer. After travelling through Europe and then returning to Australia he decided that his next travel location would be South East Asia.
On advice from a friend he chose Chiang Mai, Thailand, as his first destination and planned to learn about the region from there. Little did he know that while attending Thai lessons he would meet the love of his life and start a new life long journey based in Thailand.
Mam Songkran Boonsongsak
Mam was born on the Thai national holiday of Songkran, this is a holiday all about family and new beginnings. Mam's parents moved the family to Chiang Mai so that her and her younger brother could get an education and live in the city.
After completing university in Bangkok and working in the airline industry Mam moved back to Chiang Mai to start a career in teaching Thai.
Teaching Thai has become Mam's passion and it was this passion that led her to meet and fall in love with Scott.
